Calderdale Theatre School has several original plays available for performance by other youth theatres. All have been successful and are available with production notes.
Are you interested in becoming a member of Calderdale Theatre School? We are always are looking for young, enthusiastic, talented youngsters interested in joining a youth theatre. You can have the opportunity to join around 80 young people from all over Calderdale who meet every Saturday in Halifax to work with each other and a team of professional actors and drama teachers. In addition to learning theatre skills and techniques, all the young people involved have the chance to appear in a play at Square Chapel, Halifax or another local venue.

We will be holding auditions for new members on Saturday September 29th. Auditions for Year 7 & 8 will start at 9.45am and last for an hour. Please arrive at 9.30am in order to register.
Auditions for Years 9 - 13 will start at 11.00am and last for an hour and a quarter. Please arrive at 10.45am in order to register.
Auditions will take place at Heath Training and Development Centre, Free School Lane, Halifax (the former Heath Grammar School). There is a large car park at the rear of the building.
